Pact of the Keeps Series:
A trilogy based on characters we created in D&D. We gave them a new world and included our friends and their personalities. To us the story was more important than the 5E rules, so we made our own. We hope that you enjoy the adventure!
BOOK ONE
Blackwing Keep:
Dark Wizards Demise
(2022)
Our journey begins as Akita learns of the untimely passing of her Uncle. Now she must take up the mantle of leadership that her Uncle left behind. However, dark forces seem poised to destroy the realm of Prayla and the surrounding territories. Akita must call upon her friends to help her defend the realm. Together they will uncover sinister plots, a terrifying red dragon, colossal Leviathans, and a treacherous Dark Wizard sect. Events will unfold quickly, and the friends will barely have time to take a breath before the next battle. Old friends will strengthen their bonds and discover new friends along the way. As they learn new abilities and uncover exciting powers within themselves, they will defend the continent of Alahora and make Blackwing Keep safe again. They will face horrific dangers, and friends may be lost. No one will feel this loss as deeply as the team's leader, Akita Blackwing, the new High Duchess of Blackwing Keep.
BOOK TWO
Darkwing Keep:
Return of the Cloud Giants (2022)
Skrymir Darkwing has been abducted right in front of his friends and they were powerless to do anything about it. He is being held by a powerful being, the King of the Cloud Giants, and he wants the ancient Frost magic Darkwing possesses. Darkwing knows that his friends will try to rescue him, but will they be too late. Furthermore, how will they even find him?
Akita Blackwing, the Duchess of Blackwing Keep, with the aid of her team, search the lands and ancient tomes for any help or a weapon they can use against the unbelievably powerful Cloud Giant King. They encounter many obstacles along the way that try to prevent them from reaching Darkwing, but all is not lost. In a turn of fate, they meet an ancient Dragon with the key to rescuing Darkwing and a weapon to fight the Cloud Giant King and the Dark Wizards. However, before it is freely given, Akita must prove that she is worthy to wield this weapon by reliving some of her best and worst memories.
This next chapter in the journey of our friends will be full of heartbreak and joy. It will have friendship and betrayal. It will have Dragons, young and old, Wizards, good and bad, two budding romances, an island of Cloud Giants, and a flying cat with attitude. As always, they will make new friends to strengthen the team, but always there is a risk that they will lose the friend closest to them. Through all the ups and downs, they will never lose sight of their main goals, to rescue Darkwing and eliminate the threat of the Dark Wizards across all Alahora.

BOOK THREE
CLIFFSHADE KEEP:
DARK RESURGENCE
(2024)
The time has come for Akita and the team to take the fight to King Carthon and the Dark Wizards. As they gather their allies and research the Dark Wizard stronghold of Cliffshade Keep, a new powerful enemy emerges. The team is caught by surprise and Blackwing Keep suffers substantial damage. Even more tragic is the loss of some close friends. Akita is torn between grief and rage and Ishvet is enveloped in revenge.
The team makes their way to the Dragon Temple in the north to regroup. Upon arrival an antient magic is awoken by the Dragons returning. A magic that may help in the fight ahead. Unexpectedly, an immensely powerful ally arrives and the tide of the war against King Carthon begins to shift. By the time of the decisive battle, Akita and the team may have a chance to free Alahora of the Dark Wizard blight.
However, like most endeavors that pursue goodness and justice, sacrifices will be made. Unfortunately, this pursuit is no different. Akita can only hope that in the end that all the tragedy and sacrifice will be worth the peace that can be obtained by defeating King Carthon and his followers.
